1. What kind of music do you play?

Greymatter blends pop, rock, and folk with powerful harmonies and high-energy performances. Expect singalongs, foot-stomping beats, and a setlist that keeps the crowd dancing all night.

 

2. Can we book you for private events?

Yes! We perform at weddings, corporate events, private parties, and festivals. Whether you want an intimate acoustic set or a full-on dancefloor experience, we’ll tailor our performance to your event.

 

3. Where are you based, and do you travel?

We’re a Southern UK-based band and regularly perform across the country. We’re happy to travel for gigs, and additional costs for transport and accommodation (if required) will be factored into the booking.

 

4. What’s included when we book Greymatter?

A standard booking includes:

    •    2 x 45-minute live sets (or a custom set length)

    •    Full PA system and lighting (if needed)

    •    Background music between sets

    •    The option for a special song request (e.g., first dance for weddings)

If you need anything extra, just ask!

 

5. How much does it cost to book you?

Our pricing typically starts at £1,200, but we offer flexible packages depending on your event, set length and requirements. Let us know what you have in mind, and we'll be happy to provide a tailored quote. Get in touch using our booking form

6. What power access do you require on stage?

Two 13 amp sockets would do the job.

 

7. How big a performance area do you need?

Preferably 4m x 2m.

 

8. Do you take song requests?

We have a carefully crafted setlist, but we’re happy to take one special request in advance—perfect for weddings and milestone celebrations! If you'd like additional custom songs, let us know, and we’ll see what’s possible.

 

9. How long do you need to set up?

We typically need 60–90 minutes to set up and soundcheck before performing. For larger venues, we might need a bit more time.

 

10. Do you have public gigs where we can see you live before booking?

Yes! We regularly perform at venues and festivals. Follow us on Instagram and Facebook for upcoming gigs.

 

11. What happens if we need to cancel or reschedule?

We understand plans change. We have a cancellation policy, which we’ll share when booking. Generally, cancellations within a set period may incur a fee.

 

12. Do you have Public Liability Insurance?


Yes we do.

 

13. Is your equipment PAT tested? (Portable Appliance Testing)


Yes. 

 

14. Do you need a dressing room?

It's always nice to have in order to prepare and look our best for you!
